"complain and you are ignored"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

i was recently in hospital for a sinus operation, the noise on the ward was so bad i walked out, i did ask a nurse to deal with it, all i got from her was this will go on all night, but i believe their is a bigger problem with this hospital, i first put in an official complaint in 2005 about the very bad attitude of a nurse on a heart ward,i have put at least two more complaints since then, and received apologies, yet noting changes,i believe now the more a person complains the worse that person gets treated, but worse still is the attitude of some doctors they have a tendency to look down on the sick as weak willed and treat them as such, until doctors learn to respect and listen to their patients and believe them the leicester hospitals will get a lot more complaints, i have not spent 50 years paying taxs and insurance to get insulted every time i go into hospital

We're really sorry to hear that you have been unhappy with your treatment in our hospitals. Your feedback about your recent experience has been passed onto the ward team so they can consider how they manage the noise on their ward.
