I had a sudden problem with my eye on a Sunday. A call to the eye casualty dept was helpful, directing me to a local optician who would assess and refer if necessary. I was referred and called the dept who gave me an appointment. With one doctor and one nurse there was quite a wait but the standard of care was excellent. We left feeling that these two individuals (plus those who clean the area) had been a credit to the hospital. Well done!
