What I liked

I have visited my mother whilst she was in your care and to be honest there was not very much to like. The nursing staff seem to care but the doctors seem to be indifferent and unaproachable particuarly by my mother. The level of care is poor with the availability of equiment and basic consumables being a paticular problem. The room she is in is poorly decorated with paint flaking off of the walls and is absolutly filthy, it is no wonder she is now suffering from infections in additon to her original ailments. I ring my mother daily and know how extremly unwell she is, however when I rang the ward for additonal information I was told she was fine, it was not until I asked to speak to a senior nurse was I told the truth. I might add the the staff nurse (Richard Bright ward) was extremly helpful, honest and re-assuring. Over all, I am very concerned at the treatment my mother is receiveing and need some assurances that she will be looked after in a caring and clean enviroment.

What could be improved

Most every aspect of care and cleaning.
