Was booked in for an Endoscopy this morning. Upon arrival I was greeted in the reception and given good information about where I needed to go. The cards are very helpful. Arrival time booked for 8.15. Was in the ward and having the procedure done by 9am and discharged by 930am. Excellent times and no waiting around. All the staff I encountered were extremely polite, warm and helpful. From start to finish I was treated with respect and dignity, and given all the information I could possibly want. The team seem to have found the right balance between informal relaxed manner whilst still being professional and special mention must go to the duty nurse for being great at what she does. Overall I can see this is a very well run hospital staffed by people who care about the jobs they do. I have no problem in recommending this site for anyone to visit.
