About: Wythenshawe Hospital

Anything else?

i had savere abdominal pain that had gotten worse over sevral days and i was in so much pain i could sleep or even sit down. i wated approx 4 hours to be seen and blood tests were taken i was then sent home with a prescription for pain relief which made little or no difference and i had to return the following day waited approx 5 hours then assesed by a doctor and again sent away with a prescription no pain relief. i was in even worse pain on the 3rd visit waited 5 hours then seen by doctor bloods taken and put on an ECG machinne then sent to another room 2 and 1/2 hours to be told again i had no infections etc and sent home and told to see my GP. im really confused because ir seems they test for somthinng that isnt there but dont deal with the problem that i went in for which was sever pain in the end i gave up and had to self medicate on pain killers whilst i waited to see my GP at the moment im still waiting to see my GP on friday today is tuesday and im still in severe pain having to take medication that i have for an unrelated illness.
