"Hospital care under NHS"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

Recently had an operation at Preston, This was not rushed into but done after many diagnostic testing and I'm pleased to say very sucessful to ensure I can now walk after corrective surgery to lower spine. I am not keen on anaesthetics but the team made me relaxed amd confident by their care and attention. The surgery was obviously successful and the nursing staff on Ward 2B were so kind and caring during my post operation and after care on the ward, that I could never thank them enough, in fact all the above mentioned have my undying gratitude. I did write to the CEO Preston who acknowledged it. To end if any way this can be forwarded again to those concerned I would appreciate it, as everyone seems to complain about NHS. Yours most sincerely Malcolm. Andrew Tinkler.

Thanks for your comments. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services.
