Anything else?
From my early morning call to 111, ambulance crew, A & E, X rays and scans, finally in the Surgery Assessment Unit, I was treated by efficient, caring staff, for a very painful gall bladder inflammation. From consultants to general staff. Had follow-up appointment with consultant a month later, plus pre-op procedure in readiness for operation. Took the opportunity of a last minute cancellation with a couple of days notice, for the Day Surgery Unit. Although it was a traumatic experience for me, the first time I had had an operation, but was treated with care all the time. The phone call from Unit the next day was very reassuring and helpful.
