An excellent physiotherapist, and super human-being! She gave me a collection of simple exercises to do at home which really made a difference to my stiff and inflexible back (I had recently been diagnosed with full osteoporosis sometime after an accident where I'd acquired a wedge-fracture to a vertebra). I've been to physiotherapists many many times before - but her exercises (which at first seemed a bit simplistic) really worked a treat! And I still use them now. At the time I had almost given up on the NHS and it's erratic system - but she was the treasure at the end of a very arduous trail. What's more, she was most practical and helpful when I arrived pretty late for one appointment - I'd had to come from 2 hrs away that day, and one of various bits of public transport had not materialised. She seemed to stay late herself in order to accommodate me. I was really appreciative as I'd got pretty wound-up having become so delayed, and feared missing the help she'd give Their assessment and exercises really did enable me to turn the corner to recovery from what had been a debilitating accident, both physically and mentally.
