"Excellent dental care"

I was told by my local emergency dental surgery in Preston (I live in Preston) that because of my postcode I technically had to attend the Ormskirk hospital to get emergency dental treatment even though I lived 3 miles from that emergency surgery. I found this very irritating but I suppose rules are rules and everything has to have a boundary. Anyway, I am glad I did get sent to Ormskirk as the service was excellent and I don't believe I would have got that service at my nearest surgery. There are about 4/5 dentists there in modern, clean surroundings and the staff are friendly and helpful. I saw a dentist and he was very helpful and gave sound advice. I had a wisdom tooth that was giving me unbearable nerve pain as the nerve was infected and he recommended we take it out. I was scared to death as had never had a tooth taken out before and did not expect something like that to happen there and then. I am not a tooth extraction expert but he did it very well and it really wasn't that bad at all. It is healing nicely now and I am completely pain free which is bliss. Thank you Dentist! X
