Anything else?
While there was nothing technically wrong with the care I received,it's all in the details. After being referred to one dept for complicated tests, then referred to urology when something showed up,I was so stressed out I was almost on the brink of a nervous breakdown. Waiting for tests seems to drag on for ages-then waiting for results that should have been dealt with so much sooner, especially as the results were not especially good.Dodgy communication and bedside manner from consultants leaving you planning your own funeral in your mind.Being kept waiting over 1hr in urology out-patients for bad news to be delivered. All the nurses in out-patients were lovely, though.I'm now under the care of Sheffield hospitals and the change in attitude and feel is in remarkable contrast to Doncaster.Even though I am unwell, and that is a pill that cannot be sugared, getting to Sheffield was such a relief. They have at least given me some hope.Maybe I'm being slightly unfair to D.R.I,but thats how I feel, and I don't want to see the place again.
