I found the level of care and attention given by staff of all levels, a credit to the NHS. Nothing was too much trouble including a move to a private room when the ward became a little noisy. It felt like I was among friends. The quality of the food surprised me. Yes it varied in quality a bit, but careful ordering was rewarded with an excellent meal. The catering staff were attentive. Only gripes was that I would have preferred more sedation during the actual operation ( or better still being knocked out completely ) and my discharge was delayed due to pharmacy delays. All in all my stay was a good or even better than I had hoped for. Well done Broomfield!
