What I liked

I was referred to A and E by my GP on 19 July for a minor injury. My overall experience of the care i received during my two hours on the department was excellent. I was assessed within 20 minutes and given some pain relief. Within the next half an hour I was down in the minor injuries unit. I was treated by two nurses on the unit. At all times they were polite and courteous and continually asked how i was feeling. They also kept me informed at all times about what they were doing/going to do. I was very much treated as a person and not a number which i appreciated. Many thanks for your kindness.
