About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was taken by ambulance to A&E, Viewforth Hospital, Kirkcaldy with severe abdominal pains in November. I was subsequently admitted to Admissions ward 2 and then moved to ward 53.

The care I received throughout was nothing short of exceptional - all the staff were competent, reassuring and cheerily positive. I found this particularly in Admissions 2, where the care I received, under extremely busy conditions, was wonderful. It just kept me going through a difficult and anxious time.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on Patient Opinion. I was sorry to hear that you had to be admitted to hospital and appreciate this is a very anxious time for folks. I was delighted to read your description of the staff who cared for you and also pleased to hear that despite being busy they were able to make you feel safe and re assured.
