I recently attended the rheumatology department at countess of Chester Hospital this week and I was very impressed with the service I received. From the time I arrived to the time I went in to see the consultant I was very impressed by the professionalism of all the staff involved from the actual consultant to the nurse who gave me my steroid injection. This was my first experience of visiting the rheumatology clinic and as a nurse myself I was pleased everything went well. I was very anxious as this was my first appointment in this clinic. I have been suffering for months with very painful hips and at present have to use a wheelchair as I cannot walk very well.I am now looking forward to my next visit in January.
