Having already passed on my gratitude to the relevant department with regard to all staff concerned with my care, I would like to make some additional remarks regarding my surgeon. He is a very unassuming person with a lovely attitude exuding confidence and good humour with just the right amount of gravitas. He is willing to discuss the procedure in depth and will answer all technical questions without hesitation. He is measured and honest in the clinic setting and handles his workload fairly, with characteristic panache. I always told myself to beware men yielding knives, but he would be the exception to that and I would willingly yield to his scalpel, chainsaw and whichever other tools of his trade! I had a major procedure which took its toll, but I am convinced that my remarkable improvement and recovery was due to seeing him post surgically and I will be eternally grateful to this skilled and personable surgeon who can raise the endorphins at 50 paces.
