I've never had a hospital visit quite like it! I made my appointment at fracture clinic with ease having been given the number to ring 5 days before. I was greeted by a lovely gentleman volunteer who showed me where to book in, the lady who confirmed my details was a little 'mechanical' but with a long queue she was efficiently functional. I went to fracture clinic and was greeted with a smile and shown where to sit and within 10 minutes I was seen by the consultant who was proficient, polite, took time to explain what would happen and when and within 20 minutes I was on my way home. Whilst I still have some visits to make I am impressed at the friendliness and kindness of all levels of staff who whilst clearly very busy are personable and still smiling. Thank you for looking after me.
