What I liked

Clean modern building, overworked caring nurses. Good catering for a hospital. Visiting hours ideal. Security quite good. Plenty of parking with covered walkway(but too expensive for a 30 minute visitor). Informative website.

What could be improved

All patients should be regularly asked their pain level minimum 5 times daily- correct level of painkillers could then be prescribed.

Should be a maximum of one operation cancellation, not asinourcase three where there was starvation for readiness &then forgotten at dinner, cancelling kept patient in a further 5days (weekend inc).

Digital machine output should be to a central point on the ward to stop the continual warning bleeps which are ignored for ages and disturb patients. Aircon should be installed to help reduce the heat. Stairs should be available for those who dislike lifts.
