"Eye clinic"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Anything else?

I have had to attend both the eye clinic and on 2 occasions have had to have a operation in the last 3 months. Although my visits to the clinics involved long waits I was kept informed by the nurses of where I was in the queue and I was treated with kindness and respect from the outset. Both of the operations I had on my eye was done in the eye clinic surgery and I was made to feel comfortable and safe - I was taken through what was going to happen in plain straight forward manner and I felt confident and comfortable at all stages. I would like to compliment the surgeon and his wonderful team of consultants and nurses for not only making a scary experience bearable but for saving my sight

Thank you for taking the time to let us have your feedback. I am so pleased that the staff were able to reassure you and offer you support whilst you underwent what can be an anxious procedure. I apologise for the waits that you experienced but I am pleased to report that we are currently looking at the pathway in the Eye Clinic to see if we are able to reduce the waits experienced by patients.
