On many occasions over the last two and a half years we have found the nurses and helpers to be very friendly, pleasant and hard working. However, some of the doctors have no bedside manners, speak poor English and show no compassion towards their patients. Many delays and incorrect tests could have been avoided if the consultant had actually listened to us describing the symptoms very clearly and in detail. We still have no diagnosis and life is very difficult when one is in a lot of pain and normal painkillers do not work. A lot of money and time is being wasted. The NHS needs to look at other European countries, as they provide much better care and patients have a much higher survival rate. England is lacking miles behind other Western countries.
