I had to attend the A+E dept. of St.Helier hospital Carshalton on 22.11.13 at 1900hrs. for ecg,xray,blood tests .etc. my GP having requested that I attend with some urgency.The department was modern and clean. Having waited just 20 mins. I was taken to Triage and then to a small roon to await treatment.I was kept updated throughout the whole course of proceedures. All of the staff that looked after me were very professional in their manner. reassuring and jovial which made the whole event easier for me,this included doctors,nurses,radiologist and porters. Considering the various tests that were necessary the time involved was quite short. There is negative comment very often regarding the N.H.S.,I can only say that the quality of treatment that I received at St.Helier hospital A+E dept.should be the standard by which all other hospitals aspire to. Thank you to all of their staff that treated me.
