I undrwent a colonoscopy on 11th November this year after a short wait after referral. The instructions for the bowel prep were clear and informative. When I arrived there was no delay in being seen by a nurse who took details. A doctor then came and inserted a venflon in my hand for seddation to be administered. Shortly after I was escorted into the endoscopy suite having undressed and put on the special shorts. The procedure was quick, almost painfree and I was treated with respect. Two days later I was very impressed to be phoned by the hospital and asked how I was and whether there were any questions
