"Was treated like an object not a person"

About: Horton General Hospital

Anything else?

Went to the Horton with a long standing problem that crops up maybe every 12-18 months. I have a clear letter from my doctor outlining my problem and treatment plan. So as not to hold pain relief being administered. I was delt with by a junior doctor who wasn't interested in letter or my husbands explanation. He insisted on conducting many needless tests and I was I severe pain for 2-3 hours. He also transferred me to the JR when I'd said no. The consultant at the JR was great and completely understood my problem. Nodding his head when I told him how I'd been treated at the Horton. It was a distressing visit made worse by a jobs worth doctor who wouldn't listen.
