What I liked

My husband was treated at Newark in Sept 07 for meningitis.

From the A& E staff through to staff on the ward he was in the treatment & care was excellent.

The hospital was very clean & the staff helped put me at ease during a very traumatic experience.

What could be improved

Car parking is a bit of a nightmare during peak visiting hours.

Thank you for your comments, which have been passed on to the staff involved in your husband's care. Since your visit the car park at Newark has been resurfaced and re-marked, which created some extra spaces, and more will be made available once ongoing building work is finished.
