Anything else?
My mum had to visit the Radiology Dept recently for a 'delicate' procedure. When she rang the receptionists to confirm her appointment they were absolutely lovely to her and I am sure they could tell she was rather fearful of what was going to happen. They explained everything in detail and very gently so that she understood even though she was very nervous. On arrival she was made to feel welcome and from the moment the staff collected her for her procedure they were outstanding in the way they spoke and dealt with her. They were kind and considerate and nothing was too much trouble and they took great care in making her feel comfortable and explaining everything. They treated her with respect and dignity and she even received a proper cup of tea with biscuits once it was over. Thank you so much - from dreading the visit for 2 weeks, and although she was relieved it was over, she sort of enjoyed her visit. She wanted me to pass on her thanks to the radiographers that dealt with her and also the reception staff.
