My 11 year old granddaughter suffered a pretty painful knee injury on the 9 Nov 13. She was still in considerable pain on the 11th and I decided to take her to the minor injuries clinic. I was so impressed with the reception and kindness she received. Although it was considered nothing was broken or chipped, she was issued with some crutches. Unfortunately, her pain was still evident on the 15th so, I decided to take her back to the minor injuries clinic. Once again the reception she received was first class, the nurse even fixed up an appointment with the visiting consultant who, like all the other staff, was kind and sympathetic undertaking a full investigation of the problem area even authorising an x-ray. It was confirmed nothing was broken or chipped and she was advised to use the crutches for another week. The x-ray technician was also a delight to deal with and made my granddaughter feel most welcome in addition to showing her compassion. There was a student nurse in attendance on both the days we visited and she followed the same mould as other staff. I was very impressed with the facilities on offer and all the staff I came into contact with. We're so lucky to have the NHS and Newquay Hospital. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful service to the community and visitors alike. Please pass on my grateful thanks to all those concerned. Paul
