About: Trowbridge Community Hospital

Anything else?

went to MIU after hitting my head and being knocked out only to be given one paracetamol, and told to go home. walking out of the 'room' i was in, i then heard the nurses saying how i was lying and looking like something was hilarious. two days later i got rushed to RUH to be told i had a extreme concussion and a 'chipped' skull. three weeks later i was made to walk 2 hours in pain (as i had no other way of getting there and the hospital telling me to) i arrived to be told to go away and i was indeed having a miscarriage with clots double the size of a 50 pence piece and told i have to get the train and walk to RUH to be seen. i once broken a bone in the middle of my right hand playing basket ball, hand swollen and blue/green with hints of purple crying in pain to be told i can not have any pain killers until they were sure, after which i had a x-ray in the wrong place! after telling the nurse x-raying my hand that's not where the pain is she told me she knew better and it was in fact 'just a sprain' i had a splint put in-between my fingers and told to go home. still with no painkillers. i had been before vomiting blood and a temp of almost 50 degrees celcious , told to go home and wait it out, blue lighted to Salisbury hospital to be told i have a rare in my stomach and rushed into surgery unable to eat for 3 days having needles in my arms and hands to put in the stumtances needed to survive, i then found out it wouldn't of been so bad if this horrid hospital had done something sooner! and may i mention i have a bleeding disorder what stops my blood from clotting. this is only the half of the 'treatment' i have received. can not mention the years i have been as has been to many to list (have listed the last time) and have been hoping the hospital would change in time... i dont ever think that will happen
