"At the new reception I was met ..."

About: The Whittington Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

At the new reception I was met by a friendly volunteer who directed me to the imaging centre. Although it was busy, the receptionists were efficient and able to call up my administrative details after an absence of more than 10 years. The waiting was well handled with good use of pageing devices. The radiographers treated me as a patient rather than as a body, and gave me a useful unofficial preliminary diagnosis. (Hope this doesn't get anyone into trouble.)

Altogether, most confidence-inspiring.

What could be improved

The immediate surrounding area - a long term problem, I know.

We are delighted that you were so well looked after by all the staff and volunteers you encountered at the Whittington and that the service you received was so good.
