"could not be worse if they tryed"
Posted via NHS Choices
The phc is a dreadful place to stay ,myself n my partner hav been in n out patients under the crisis team who are just as awful, my stay was horrific staff just sat chatting among themselves in the office. patients with severe problems with ones whom are very vulnerable and at risk from the severity of the others issues together I was physicality assaulted by another patient and the staff did not give it a second thought until the person decided to distroy every thing in their path to which the other patient was injected and put to bed I didn't feel safe at all and others on the ward at the same time didn't feel safe either, I left the hospital worse than I went in on both occasions, I have special dietary requirements and it took a week to get a decent meal which was disgusting to say the least, I had no idea what was going on from one day to the next my care was not discussed with me only my mum and partner whom assumed I knew what was happening with my own care. when my partner was was admitted to phc she was wrongly man handled by staff because she became distressed and injected for it only to woken up early hours of the morning to be transferred to aanother place by several staff member whom she didn't know from the other place but it was a amazing place she was taken to but but the way they went about it was totally wrong not one single person knew knew what was going to happen so we was totally unprepared i had to travel to see her and take everything that she needed while in treatment all she was able to take was the clothes on her bk and shoes and smoking things that was all she had for almost a week because I am not a driver and I am severly severely disabled .so needed to get some one else to take me that almost 3 hr drive each way to visit and deliver everything that she may of needed I was very upset by lack of knowledge about what was happening with my own partner and disgusted to only find out about the transfer later the next day when I tried to call to see how she was doing . Lack of communication , empathy and care for anyone who has problems this place and the staff are best avoided at all costs they only hinder you not help you. As for the crisis team who operate from the day ward at phc there is a few good staff amongst the riff raff for someone who is ill to be told to go get on with it when they say that they feel like harming themselves ,being called a lier and saying that wanting to commit suicide to be told that they are just mulipulative is a disgrace, then have the person who has said that put in a complaint about me saying that I was abusive on the phone and I only relayed a message about my partner and what was happening with her. Im very much disappointed with the whole place all in all,I won't have anything to do with them myself because of the way they have treat myself and my partner I have no other option these days bur to try to cope totally alone with ptsd, depress n bpd n I self harm as i feel lonely now.
