All the questions that require star rating were not applicable to my situation as you will see when you read below. I tried on several occasions to contact Fern Ward via the switch board. They have never answered the phone. It is very frustrating as I am calling from Canada just so a cousin who is in the hospital, knows we are thinking of him. I tried again today, and this time not even the main hospital numbers are answering the phones. Is there an email address for an alternative contact? My cousin is in his 80's and needs to know he is not forgotten.

I am so sorry that you have had difficulties contacting our hospital. We have been experiencing difficulties with our switchboard directory, however staff on the wards not answering the phones is unacceptable. I will raise this with Fern ward. Yours sincerely, Stephen Burgess Medical Director
