Re: Victoria Ward My mother was admitted to Victoria War in March 2013 on her 94th birthday. She was diagnosed with dementia and spent some weeks on the ward before being transferred to a care home. During her time on the ward she was treated with great care and compassion. My mother was double incontinent and in a very confused state resulting in regular soiling of her bed and her clothes. I should particularly like to commend the care staff who cleaned up after her very quickly and treated her with the utmost respect. All staff were professional, caring and helpful and my mother and our family were fully supported by all staff: doctors, nursing, administrators and carers during this very distressing time.
