"Unexpected visit to childrens A&E"

Thank you very much for your kind comments regarding your visit to our Childrens Emergency Department (CED) recently. It is always nice to receive positive feedback and I will ensure this feedback is shared with the appropriate staff, who I am sure will be most appreciative. With regards, to having easier access to fresh drinking water, I do know we have cold water dispensing machines in and around many areas of the hospital; however, without being sure exactly which area of the CED you were in, I caanot provide any further response at this point, but I will certainly feed this information back to the staff to remind them that informing patients or relatives etc where they can easily access fresh drinking water is something they might wish to include in their routine communication on arriving in this area. Many thanks once again for taking the time to provide us with this feedback and I certainly hope your son is now fully recovered from his sudden illness and is eagerly looking forward to Christmas!
