"Op for detatched retina"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I had to have a second op on my left eye and the consultant, Mr Ho, was amazing and wonderful. He did a big op and lazered around the eye - he came twice to explain everything to me.

Over the subsequent 10 weeks, he has seen me frequently, constantly checking that all is well; worrying about the pressure; and generally giving me assurances that all was well.

I have had such fantastic attention in the NHS and would also like to complement all of the staff, nursing, reception etc all of whom gave excellent service.

My thanks and complements to the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
