"Frequent visitor from Grimsby"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

I am a regular visitor to HRI mainly to receive treatment for MS and other complications. I have been an inpatient several times including once for an operation on my back. In general I have found the care to be very good although there can be a bit of a wait sometimes when visiting as an outpatient. I am mainly looked after by the Neurology department and I have to say that the care I get (including care from Grimsby & Brigg) is very good. I have recently started inerferon injections to try and control my ms more and have been given the number of the ms nurses in Hull to ring and organise for me to come in straight away if I have a relapse. (Recent relapses have been mainly dealt with at Grimsby which as a more limited Neurology unit) Normally the hospital is clean and the staff friendly & efficient. The free parking for disabled people is a real bonus, especially after paying bridge tolls and using fuel getting backwards & forwards.
