There's nothing I can fault about my experience this weekend. I've visited A&E numerous times over the last 18 months, and had 1 operation, but this was the first time I've had an unexpected weekend stay. I really cannot fault the care that I received, the attitude or aptitude of the staff, or the quality of the hospital. What could easily have been a very unsettling and distressing experience, being in hospital from 3am Sunday morning to more than. 24 hours later on the Monday, was a happy and positive experience. Top marks to all concerned, including A&E, Reginald Hard Ward, the anaesthetists, the porters, and the consultant.
