From my first visit to Circle Bath for an X-ray and consultation to my coming home from a total hip replacement I met with nothing but care and concern for me as a person not a number on a piece of paper. The time from my first visit to the actual operation was a mere four weeks and in between those four weeks was a very informative pre assessment and hip management workshop. As an NHS patient the treatment was first class. The hospital itself seemed like the very best of hotels and the food each day a delight. More importantly the nursing care could not be faulted. Unfortunately I had a small discrepancy in leg length but was given as much information as I needed to explain and put my mind at rest. It is still early days but I have every expectation that as the weeks go by my 'hiccup' will be minimised.
