What I liked
The Sister on ward 13 was very nice, helpful, compasionate and interested.
What could be improved
The attitude of the health care assistants and some nursing staff was deplorable with little intersest or care shown to my Grandfather or myself. On one occasion the patient in the next bed needed attention and was told to hurry up as X factor was starting, not a good thing to do or say in front of relatives. When ringing to enquire of my grandfathers health the attitude is distainful and dismissive and some nurses seem to thing that the staff room is the only place to be on the ward especially at the weekend. I am going to complain as my grandfather has been left in his own urine and feaces for long periods of time and when asked to clean him the attitude was like it was to much bother. He has been left un-shaved and with food left on his face after feeding. He was admitted being able to feed himself but now can't. He has also had several infections from his time there.
