I have been admitted 5 times over the last 4 months and have been on 4 different wards so far. I have to say the best ward for care was 31 and the nicest staff, they really looked after me especially the nurse who was very cheerful. But the staff on SAU did nothing but moan about "it not being their job" and stood next to people's beds at 1am having a personal moan about things when people were trying to sleep. I thought this was quite rude and should have gone somewhere else to vent their frustrations as I know we all have them at work. The only downside to my stay was the lack of communication between doctors, 5 times I've had to explain past visits because no one seems to know where previous notes are which is slightly concerning but your cleaners do a fantastic job as the place is spotless.
