Having waited many weeks to see a neurologist for facial paralysis, I was not examined, or questioned about the current state of the paralysis or any ongoing symptoms such as tingling, etc. I was told that I looked "much older" than my age (which is insensitive when one's looks are involved in the illness and so self esteem is already low). I was abruptly told not to expect any further improvement in my ability to move the face. The whole appointment took 4 minutes. I would certainly suggest using any other hospital than Broomfield if you need to see a neurologist.
