"Test results "lost""

Anything else?

On March 26th 2013 I had a 7 day heart monitor removed and was told I would hear from the consultant shortly. I have heard nothing neither has my GP. My GP has written to the department asking for the results and up to today has not received a reply. The reception staff at my doctors have also tried chasing up the results with no success. I have tried contacting the Cardiology department myself on several occasions only to be told by a board sounding answerphone "There is no one here to take your call...... etc". I have left my contact details and have not been contacted by anyone from the department. A reply or explanation as to why people are treated in such an off hand manner and the results of my tests would be appreciated. Ian Riley
