"I had a hip revision at North ..."

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I had a hip revision at North Tyneside Hospital in April this year. The pain control was excellent, being able to ask for pain relief when I needed it was very good. The food was enjoyable, served hot and on china plates and dishes. The ward was clean and continually kept clean at all times. The staff always had a word of encouragement and nothing was too much bother for them. The NHS seems to be in the news for getting things wrong, so I thought I would let you know that in my opinion, ward 20 seems to be getting most things right. My stay in hospital was a lot less stressful and a more pleasant experience than years ago.
