Anything else?
On Monday 28th October 2013 I was in severe pain due to an ear infection and was told by my own doctors surgery that I could not see a doctor that day but could see a practice nurse at 3.00 p.m. that afternoon but as I was in such pain and could not wait that long I went to Queen Marys Urgent Care Centre arriving at 8.50.00 a.m. and was seen by a nurse within a few minutes of arriving the nurse took the details of my problem and I was asked to wait outside. Within a few minutes I was seen by a doctor who advised me that I had a pretty bad infection and he prescribed 500 mg antibiotics which he gave me from his cupboard so that I did not have to wait at the pharmacy and I got back into my car at 9.17 a.m. so my assessment and treatment took less than 30 minutes - service like this is pretty hard to beat - brilliant.
