" It was more like a holiday than an enforced stay."

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have just returned home after a 3 week stay at the RD&E Hospital (Wonford) in Exeter following treatment for a fractured hip.

My stay involved time spent in the Durbin and Yealm Wards at the hospital and I would just like to express my most sincere thanks to all the staff who looked after me. The care, compassion and treatment was exemplary, and the friendliness of all the amazing staff was astonishing to the extent that it was more like a holiday than an enforced stay!

Thank you all so very, very much.
