I went for Physio at Darent Valley and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a fan of hospitals, but I was please to say Darent Valley was organised, clean and efficient. I took a book and bag of snacks thinking that even though I had an appointment, I'd still have to sit around waiting. I didn't even get a chance to open my book. I was also impressed with the parking, there was lots of parking, which was close to the hospital and I didn't have to re mortgage in order to park. £1 per visit is a fantastic system. I've visited other hospitals where the hospital fees are extortionate and you have to pay before you go in. I've also felt that when people rush to hospital with a sick relative, the last thing on their mind is pay and display. When you are regularly visiting a patient, having to pay before you go in , then watch your clock during your visit or not visiting too regularly because of the expense has only seemed to fly in the face of what the hospital ethos. Well done Darent Valley for putting your patients first!
