Don't get me wrong but some staff were ok, but the attitude of some we're appalling. I'm not sure why some of these caring so called professionals are doing the jobs they do, but who employed them? My daughter was in Silver Birch and had settled before being moved elsewhere with out thought, consideration and being taken away from all family contact, something that has affected her since. The consultant dealt with everything matter of fact, without any thought or support. Overall this was a very upsetting experience for all, not just the patient

I am sorry you felt Silver Birch was not a supportive and helpful environment for your daughter and that the experience was upsetting for you and your family. If you have any concerns about individual staff members, please do raise these with the Nurse in Charge of the shift or the Ward Manager at the time, so that these concerns can be looked into. If you would prefer, you can contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service and raise your concerns formally through them. We hope that your daughter continues to remain settled and wish her all the best in her recovery. Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding the service. We will pass your comments on to the ward team in order for them to reflect on the experience you and your family had, to ensure we are constantly learning and trying to improve the care that we offer to our service users.
