Having had chest pain on and off for 2 days, I was referred to an Out of Hours GP via NHS Direct. The GP, who made a thorough examination, referred me to A&E for a trace on my heart and chest x-ray. The Doctors, nurses and radiologist were both professional and friendly. Having eliminated a heart condition, lung problem or breast lumps, I was given pain killers to see if my condition was in fact muscular. Thankfully if was. The staff took the time needed to be sure there was nothing more sinister going on and did not make me feel that I was wasting their time. Thank you.
