"The cash only culture in Worcester Royal"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

I have a child on the NICU and the care he is receiving is second to none. That is the good news. I also have a wife who is less than one week post emergency section who is expressing breast milk to feed our son and to do this she needs to be able to eat regularly. Today we were faced with the prospect of having to drive to Tesco in order to get cash so we might return to the hospital to eat; there being only one cash point in a hospital that doesn't seem to have entered the modern cashless society. Can you please recognise the need to either supply an uninterrupted supply of cash, or more sensibly let us use cards. It's not only in patients that require sustenance.
