"Curtain around bed blocks view but not sound"

About: Balfour Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I felt I was frightened into compliance. Non compliance and was treated as "a difficult patient. "

Staff were making jokes at patient's expense thinking they cannot hear - curtain around a bed blocks view, but not sound!

The whole experience for me was a nightmare, and effected my general health and well-being.

I wasn't given my usual medication or water.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not experience the high standard of care we would have expected our staff to provide for our patients using our services. I would like to thank you for getting in touch and raising these issues with us.
