My father (89) and I arrived about an hour before his appt and as soon as we set foot in the building people helped and guided us to where we should be. Fantastic!
His tests were started within 5 minutes of us registering, some 50 minutes before his appt. He was dealt with sympathetically and professionally.
I asked about the restaurant as I said we would go there for lunch when all was finished. Paul gave directions and we got there and were impressed by the food, space and staff. We both enjoyed the food.
We went outside and an employee realised we were looking for the exit for the medilink bus. She asked if my dad needed the lift and said she could take us out using a quick route and was much closer to our bus stop. She was leaving after her work at the QMC and she told me she usually works at the City Hospital. She was so kind!
My father told me he was somewhat nervous about today and I expect it caused him to be unsettled which I understand but he called me again tonight to say what an incredible experience it had been today! I agree.
I know he worries though won't show it but because of this positive day I know he won't worry again. It was new to me too and I concur with his feelings! Thank you!
