Anything else?
Pathetic, phoned everyday last week for sizes of an elderly gentleman who was taken in. No one got back to me, no phone calls what so ever. So there does not seem to have any respect or dignity for the patient who has had to walk about in hospital pyjamas. Did not feel that leaving fruit and new clothes when I visited were going to be given to the person concerned, luckily I have an inventory of what clothes, fruit and washing equipment, as it seems when I was there someone said that their clothes have gone missing! Also travelled 2 hours to visit to find out that the gentleman had been taken for a CT scan and they did not know when he would be back, they could have phoned me but they didnt, it could have saved me a journey and I could have visited the next day As for the fruit well It was put in a fridge, was this so that everyone could help themselves to it staff as well as patients? My view of Ribbleton is pathetic, no respect or dignity for the patient, how that old gentleman must have been looking forward to a visit, where was the duty of care, none whatsoever.
"Is this the best this hospital can offer?"
