What I liked

on the12th feb 2008 i attended the hospital for a consultation. I had to wait a considerable time for an x ray due to a mal function of one of the machines. In the waiting area was a poster commenting on the fact that doctors, nurses ,staff and cleaners etc all scrub up well and suggesting that we should clean our hands to keep the hospital healthy.This is great except for the fact that the only dispenser to be found was situated on the reception desk and was nearly empty and no one was using it because it was not obvious.

What could be improved

May i suggest that a dispenser should be placed in the entrance foyer, Indeed all entrances to the hospital and possibly a voiced message should remind all entering the hospital to take advantage of this service. One miserable dispenser will do nothing to compact infection brought in via the general public. Surely dispensers should be placed in strategic positions around the hospital.I would be interested to recieve your comments.
